CHAPTER :
Thank You Leonard
With entries from:

The Angels heard my silence in the wish I whispered deep
They let you hear the silence of the love we all do keep

I am sitting quietly in the waters down below
But my heart is always sending pure love for you to know

I love your words I love your ways I love your gentle manner
And most of all I love that you are coming for our pleasure.

"THE VERY FIRST TIME"

For me this will be the very first time
I feel the sweetness of the Master of Rhyme

In person and giving his heart on a plate
To me who has have lived the love and the hate

Of life in its naked beauty and splendor
I wait to receive and to feel the pleasure

Of Leonard performing so cool, it's a given
The night will be lit with his love and his wisdom

"MISSING LEONARD"

So sad to say
I missed the day
You sang your poems of beauty

I had a seat to know the sweet
But the call of love is duty

You sang and gave your soul to all
You gave your heart You heard our call
You graced us with your beauty

Your mystic mind unwound the twine
Which binds each magic moment
To All that gives to each of us
Our life and deep commandment

Upon each mind your words did fall
Laced lightly with enchantment

I would have stood before the gate
And paid the pipers levy
With gratitude and worthy tithe
Had not my love been needed

To fly away the day you came
So filled me with a sadness

I wish I could have paved the way
To worship at your temple

Perhaps some time
Our paths will twine
And fate will caste a lifeline

To both of us
Who need the love
We feel and miss each lifetime

Its not the deed
Its not the act
Its passion without judgement

Its love of soul
Our depth of life
The knowledge of our pathway

"A LOVER OF SONG"
I’m a lover of Leonard the Writer of Songs
I’m a Writer of Stories Truth can’t go wrong

I’m free to be me cause I’ve sung my own song
I’m a Poet of Freedom from Life and its wrongs

I’ve given my All to the down and the out
I tasted the Glory of being Devout

I always had nothing Yet life’s given me lots
I’ve faced all my demons Though it’s taken its toll

Age doesn’t matter It’s feelings that do
It’s Love and it’s Truth That matters to you

I’d give my life gladly To right the big wrong
I’d lie down in the Meadow To hear a Love Song

Sung by the Singer who writes the Truth well
Who Sings to me sweetly of Heaven and hell

I’m a Writer of Stories
A Lover of Song

“FEELING A ROSE”

How well I feel I know you
With your lyrics and your smile

I feel your touch upon my heart
Your smile upon my soul

Close your eyes and feel the fall
to depths of Higher Feeling

The stone of truth will lift you up
Your hand will pen the prose

Memory will serve you well
Your mind will touch the Rose

Across the path of light and time
Loves’ Scent will guide you home
