I remember it well.... the first rumours about a Stage-Comeback of Leonard Cohen came up. I couldn't believe, that we will have the Chance to see and hear him and his beautiful, gifted musicians again.... And I really just believe it, as they conquered the stages around the World in 2008 again. Noone really thought back then, that we will have a 5-year-enduring-Worldtour, only interrupted with the recording of the newest Studioalbum. In the beginning, I was just hoping, that Switzerland will be on the Map. Of course, I had a huge love for him, since I did see him live in 1993. But the Concerts from 2008 and later, they were really Special, magical, fascinating... he catched everyone... And I never ever will forget what he is given us in his whole life, but epecially in the last years: he gave live-Performances who arn't usual: just the intensity of the concerts, the strength to do such a long Tour.... I realise, that I had to see him live again, even if it's mean, that I had to travel around Europe. I never ever had such thoughts before. But: I just had to do so. I have to. He has the Aura of a Magician... he don't need a loud" Show, he don't need a huge light-Show, he don't need to talk a lot, even if I realy love to hear his voice when he talks. I have so many treasurable Memories from every Leonard-Cohen-Concert were I was in the audience. And: he bring me to tears at every single Concert.... For me he is a phenomen, And I am really lucky for him, that he get's the big attention, that he had deserved years ago. Sure, when I was young, I had my difficulies to understand, what he want's to say. But, and that is (for me) one of his succcess-secrets: he don't judge, he don't blame... he just tells and leave the rest to the audience, to the listeners. With a view words he can describe what others try with a whole book I was smashed by his humanity, his "feeling" for the audience, the moments, when he forget, that thousands are still watching and he Dances in his unique style and sings other lines or tunes from the Song, that he was actually in to... For me he is a true "Crooner", and at the Time, when I "discoverd" his records, he left some unforgetable Impacts on me. He was and will always be very important for me.... Leonard Cohen: I thank you for everything, that you have given us in the last half century. We really love to see and hear you again. We all just wishes you the very best, be happy! Looking foreward to see you again and witnessing some new "Highlights".... At every single Concert we seen so many of them; it is simply not possible to pick up a particular one....IT WAS A 5-YEAR-LONG PARTY in the best way of meaning!
