My heart is stronger now that you're in it

When I was five years old, my mom brought home a movie that she'd rented for our family to watch. It was called "My Neighbor Totoro".
As the rest of my family slowly lost interest in what they thought was just a silly cartoon, I became more and more engrossed in the magic on my screen. By the end of the movie, I had fallen in love with the magical world of Studio Ghibli.
Thirteen years later, my love for Totoro and all things Studio Ghibli still burns as brightly as it did that night when I was five. I own all of the movies that have been released in America. I dream of someday traveling to Japan to see the places that the movies were inspired by and tour the Studio Ghibli museum.
Hayao Miyazaki, you have shaped my life into what it is today. I don't know who I would be if I had never seen one of your masterpieces, and I don't want to know. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you have given to the world and to me. I know I'll never forget it.
