I first heard about Capital Factory...

I had heard about Capital Factory through friends, but they were casual mentions and checking it out had landed on my "someday to do" list, until one day I decided to check out something called "Epic Office Hours." The schedule was full, but I went anyway, just to see what the place was all about. When I showed up on the 16th floor, the place was absolutely swarming with people jockeying for time with mentors. I nearly left, but the person who appeared to be in charge (and who turned out to be Josh Baer) spied me, and offered me a slot.

Lucky me, for Josh had matched me up with Eric Gould Bear. As we talked it became clear that Eric was curious about and interested in Weeva, and it was super clear to me, that I liked Eric. He brought just the sort of thoughtfulness, openness and insight that we would need to imagine and execute Weeva's product and UI strategy. Several meetings later, Eric signed up to work with Weeva. The condition was that we apply for and join Capital Factory as an incubator company.

That has turned out to be an awesome move, as Weeva has benefited greatly from being part of the CF community. Among other things, we've gained exposure, a lead engineer, a great place to work, and the opportunity to interact with a wonderful array of mentors, partners and investors. It really feels like people want us to win, and so they consistently offer the help and guidance we need, while at the same time making it clear that the journey is up to us. It's a great blend, and we are delighted to be part of the family.
