Merry christmas mr lawrence

I fell in love with David Bowie in 1972 watching him on Top of the Pops singing Starman and throughout the years he has been a constant in my life! Aside from seeing him in concert a number of times one of my lasting memories was going to see him at the pictures in Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence, I went every night on my own for the whole week it was on! My parents thought I was mad but to this day it was money well spent!

Goodnight Mr Jones you will always be there for me!
