When I worked the night shift at a local gas station and wanted nothing more than to be at home in bed with my husband, I would recite Leonard's songs in my mind as I worked to help get me through the long, lonely nights. His words in his songs helped me to find strength within myself I didn't know I had. Many nights at around 3AM, I'd be singing 'In My Secret Life' to myself as I went about my job and somehow the time went by faster and the job seemed easier when I played Leonard's music in my mind. I cannot thank him enough for sharing his songs with the world as they have helped to bring me through many difficult times throughout my life. His music is truly inspirational for me!
