You came into my life during my early adolescence, a turbulent time compounded by my father's sudden death. Your music and poetry was my sanctuary. My one essential book was "The Spicebox of Earth"; I can still recite much of it by heart. I was a fan at 13 and have remained a fan throughout my life. Thank you for your many gifts. I am grateful.
