Dear Mr. Miyazaki,
I want to thank you for introducing me to a whole new magical world of color and imagination. You jumped beyond boundaries that others wouldn’t have dared to cross, and that is what makes you so incredible. You’ve brought so many smiles, and tears to all Studio Ghibli devotees, and that itself is a blessing. Your stories and movies are so moving and engaging; I myself have found that I can deeply relate in one way or another with all of them! Exploring extraordinary worlds is always so fascinating and entertaining, and your characters are very well-developed which greatly add to the strong connection of your stories. Over the years, I’ve fallen in love with your style, and I treasure everything about it. Princess Mononoke would have to be one of my personal favourites. Not only is the story beautiful, but the scenery is simply breathtaking. It illustrates many wonderful lessons. The most notable lesson I’ve gotten from it would be that we must leave nature and wildlife alone, because if we, as the human race, take it too far, we can potentially destroy ourselves, as well as other living things. I can’t even begin to express my gratitude to you. The fabrics of childhood are utterly amazing, and you have managed to keep the seams of mine together. I speak for myself and my friends when I say, thank you very much, Mr. Miyazaki. Your creations will be missed, but never forgotten!
