Dear Hayao Miyazaki, my name is Mckell Craft and I'm from the USA. Ever since I was a little girl I loved watching the movies made by you and everyone else at Studio Ghibli and they helped inspire me to become a writer! I learned a lot from them and I think I'm the person I am today because of them. Also since I have Autism and I'm often uncomfortable around people its been hard for me to be social and experience certain things. So watching them always makes me feel happy. Though I'm not and will not be making movies, I hope that someday my stories will have that same kind of magic like your movies. But besides writing I love art and music as well and its also played a part in inspiring me. I think now I'm kinda rambling on now though, "Hahaha!" Though sadly your no longer making movies I'm glad that I've been able to see them and if I ever have children of my own I hope that they will enjoy them as well. For they are wonderful and full of magic, and every time I watch them I feel like I've been transported to another world, as if I was reading a story brought to life before my eyes. Someday I hope we can meet in person, for your work is an inspiration to me. And even if we don't, I hope that even after I'm no longer alive that the movies you and everyone at Studio Ghibli made will still be enjoyed by everyone who watches them! And thank you, for giving me some much needed insperation!
