The Man Who Sold the World

1969 was a year of changes...I began high school and discovered rock music. Most Black kids were moving from Motown to TSOP....the sound pf Philly and I was one of them. It was around this time that I discovered David Bowie...and never looked back. His music was original and his persona was breathtaking....Ziggy Stardust.....omg.
And that was the beginning of s love affair with Mr. Bowie..I followed him down the streets with Diamond Dogs...but it was the Thin White Duke that helped him crossover ..I still remember him singing Fame on Soul Train..David was a revelation...
His music formed the soundtrack to.my life as I grew from a teen to a woman...and I will.miss him.
